Itinerary Breakdown: Eric’s NYC Celebration

In today’s itinerary series, we get to chat with Eric who threw an intimate and decadent NYC bachelor party! Eric is one of the sweetest, most amazing humans I have ever met - so you are in for a treat!

And by the way, I absolutely LOVED stalking Eric’s amazing fit pics from the weekend, which of course was no surprise given that they ate at Eleven Madison Park one of the nights!

PS- Eric is also a vegan – so definitely check out this itinerary for vegan-friendly options in the city.

Let’s dive in…

How did you know you wanted your bachelor party in NYC?

The location of my Bachelor Party was ultimately determined by proximity to the guests and fun. All of the attendees were on the East Coast (2 of them in NYC) and I hadn’t spent meaningful time in NYC for a fun weekend visit in a very long time so I figured it would be a great place to fulfill any need while meeting my requirements.

When planning your bachelor party, what was the vibe you were going for? What did you want to achieve?

I wanted to have a BP that wasn’t constrained or limited by any notion of tradition. My aim was to reconnect and strengthen my relationships with the people who attended and leave room to express and explore myself in an authentic way. The group was open but not limited to fluctuations between me wanting to have a movie night or a high-octane all-night club-extravaganza casual-rager.

The vibe was ethereal and grounded. All my friends bring such distinct perspectives and views and I always want to celebrate that because that’s why we are such good friends.

How many people were in your party?

The TEAM G was me, Abby, Madison, and Gabie so I had 3 Best Maids.

What was the budget per person for the weekend? (excluding flights)

$670

What was your weekend highlight?

So hard to choose! I got so flushed at dinner one night I had to lay down. I HAD SO MANY DONUTS! Yoga in the park was so nice.

If I had to choose it would definitely be our outrageous multi-course Michelen star dinner at Eleven Madison Park. We had wine, we had happy tears, dramatic exits, and amazing food. Truly wild.

Where did you stay?

In Brooklyn at my friend's Abby place; it was very kind of her and Shane to open up their home to us.

One thing you’d want to relive over again?

Getting the chance to have a special weekend with such awesome friends is something I can only hope to bottle and cherish forever.Let’s dive in…
